Synopsis MY DEAREST (2023)

 

Set during the Qing invasion of Joseon, the drama tells the story of Lee Jang Hyun (Namgoong Min), a mysterious man who appears in the midst of the chaos. He is a cold and withdrawn man who has no interest in forming relationships, but he is drawn to Yoo Gil Chae (Ahn Eun Jin), a kind and compassionate woman.

Gil Chae is a widow who is raising her young son alone. She is struggling to make ends meet, but she is determined to give her son a better life. When she meets Jang Hyun, she is initially wary of him, but she soon realizes that he is not who he seems.
